The shop behind the name

El Pulso opened with two chairs, one rule and no television: the hand that holds the razor doesn't rush. Everything else — the paper price wall, the brass, the hot towels — follows from that.

We cut for the whole coast: Spanish regulars, expats, kids before school photos, grooms the morning of the wedding. In Spanish or English, the chair works the same.
